Summer Camps
Knight. Pirate. Ninja. Jedi. Fencer.
Whatever you want to be, learn to wield your sword at our summer camps for beginners and experienced fencers. We teach fencing techniques and tactics through games, because kids learn through play. Every opponent is a new puzzle to solve, and every day you learn new ways to solve those puzzles. Fencing fosters creativity, self-discipline, physical and mental quickness, and good sportsmanship.
If you are a school or rec center and want to feature Houston Sword Sports as part of your summer camp lineup, email Camps@HoustonSwords.com.
Our morning camp sessions develop fundamental fencing skills through games and other activities. This camp is great for both experienced and beginning fencers ages 6-12. In the morning sessions, students learn the history of the sport, how to move, attack and defend, and have a chance to fence other kids and test their skills. Need a full day? Join us in the afternoons for stage combat!
