School Fencing Programs

Have swords, will travel

Why your school needs fencing

Give a kid a stick and they’ll start swordfighting. Fencing is a safe, exciting and fun sport and is a great option for PE units, field day or field trip activities, and especially after-school classes.

  • Fencing challenges the body and mind by developing balance, agility, focus, decision making, and spatial reasoning.

  • Fencing is safe, with less risk of injury than nearly any other sport.

  • Studies show martial arts like fencing develop self-discipline, impulse control, and mental manipulation, giving kids the tools to succeed in school.

  • Fencing is equally suited to girls and boys. It also is a popular sport for students with physical disabilities. We can even give wheelchair fencing lessons.

We provide equipment and instructors. You provide students and space. We look forward to working with you.

After-School Enrichment

We will teach you to move like a fencer, wield your sword, and compete with your classmates. You will also have an opportunity to represent your school against other schools at our end-of-semester tournament.

Your instructors are dedicated, certified coaches with a combined 50 years of experience.

What do I need?

  • Shorts to the knee or pants

  • Close-toed athletic shoes

  • That’s it! We provide all fencing equipment.

Who can sign up?
