Houston Sword Sports Youth Fencing Camps
Houston Sword Sports invites you to join us at our summer camps. The camp develops fundamental fencing skills through games and other activities. In the morning session, students learn the history of the sport, how to move, attack and defend, and have a chance to fence other kids and test their skills. During the afternoon session, students learn the fundamentals of stage fencing and put together a musketeer play for parents at the end of the week. This camp is great for both experienced and beginning fencers. Sign up for mornings, afternoons, or both!
COVID-19 Precautions: We have canceled our June and July in-person camps to give Texas more time to recover from COVID-19. Our August camp is currently capped at 8 fencers per session, but will only run in person if Harris County returns to Level 2 by July 27. We will take abundant precautions to keep our fencers and coaches safe. All fencers will have their own set of gear to wear and use for the full week. If we cancel the camp due to COVID-19, we will return your deposit or offer you credit toward another class or camp.
