Houston Sword Sports is pleased to announce that fencing is coming back to Kolter Elementary!

What is fencing?

Fencing is the sport of knights and swashbucklers. We will teach you to move like a fencer, wield your sword, and compete with your classmates. You will also have an opportunity to represent your school against other schools at our end-of-semester tournament.

Your instructors are dedicated, certified coaches with a combined 50 years of experience.

What do I need?

• Shorts to the knee or pants
• Close-toed athletic shoes
• That’s it! We provide all fencing equipment.

Who can sign up?

All Kolter Elementary School students in first through fifth grade.

When do we meet?

January 14-May 20 (no class Jan 21, Feb 18, Mar 11, Mar 18; Makeup day May 27)
